Job Description

GENERAL NATURE OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the Assistant Manager the Lead for the Loading Area will coordinate all outbound product to the DC. Once product is located and identified, it will be the Lead in the shipping area to prepare necessary paperwork and clearance to prepare for outbound shipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead and assign job responsibilities to all department personnel as directed by the department Assistant Manager. Delegate and ensure all Equipment is reported in operating condition prior to start. Assign to shipment precut by customer/destination and identify as priority. Ensure all team members take scheduled breaks or lunches as required and stay within the scheduled time frames. Train team members on proper procedures as directed by the department supervisor and safety team. Verify all processes are performed accurately to ensure completeness of the job. Report and help resolve any quality infractions accurate accounting of inventory and resolution of discrepancies. Follow appropriate safety procedures and ensure all department personnel use proper personal protective equipment, Maintains vehicle maintenance report though I-Warehouse. Coordinates movement of staged orders to maximize shipping process flow. Assist with studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

Pay Range: $23.75-$24.75

SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to operate multiple equipment.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
• Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
• Highly motivated, a team player and motivated self-starter
• Innovative with people & processes
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
