Summary:

Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for an experienced sales professional to drive growth in new and adjacent customer segments. In this role, you will focus on acquiring high-value clients, expanding market reach, and building lasting relationships. As an Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in Enru’s strategic growth, managing key customer relationships and driving new business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in direct sales, experience in the 3PL and transportation industry, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex opportunities from the strategy formulation stage through closure and implementation. Strong industry connections in logistics and supply chain are essential, enabling you to help Enru grow its existing business while identifying and cultivating new opportunities. Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities : Research potential clients and markets, focusing on high-value prospects needing logistics or 3PL solutions.
• Develop sales strategies: Tailor approaches to address customer pain points and align with company goals.
• Meet and exceed sales targets: Achieve revenue and profitability goals through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships: Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, fostering trust and ensuring long-term partnerships.
• Understand client needs: Conduct regular check-ins to align services with customer requirements and adapt solutions as needed.
• Resolve issues promptly: Address customer concerns related to operations, billing, or service quality to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
• Present customized logistics solutions: Demonstrate how the company’s services (e.g., consolidation, freight brokerage, warehousing, transportation management) can solve specific customer challenges.
• Negotiate contracts: Balance client expectations with company objectives to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Collaborate with marketing teams: Align efforts to generate leads and ensure consistent branding.
• Work with internal teams: Partner with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Oversee the onboarding process: Guide new customers through implementation to ensure a smooth start to the partnership.
• Maintain accurate records: Use CRM systems to log all sales activities, track leads, and document customer interactions.
• Provide regular sales forecasts: Share updates with leadership on pipeline progress and anticipated revenue.
• Analyze performance metrics: Use data to refine sales strategies and improve effectiveness.
• Attend industry events: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and generate leads.
• Act as a brand ambassador: Promote the company’s reputation and reliability in the 3PL and logistics market.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as: Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Marketing/ Sales or Communications
• 3-5+ years of successful experience in B2B sales, preferably in the logistics, transportation, or 3PL industry.
• In-depth knowledge of freight brokerage, supply chain operations, and transportation management
• Experience managing key accounts and building long-term client relationships.
• Background in consultative selling and tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
• Strong ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate value propositions effectively.
• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to conduct product or service demonstrations.
• Skilled at negotiating contracts and addressing customer objections to achieve win-win outcomes.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate customer pain points and design tailored logistics solutions.
• Relationship-building capabilities to foster trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Collaboration skills to work seamlessly with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and customer data
• Familiarity with logistics technology, including transportation management systems (TMS) and route optimization tools.
• Understanding of the logistics and 3PL market, including supply chain challenges, cost drivers, and USPS/transportation regulations.
• Awareness of customer segments, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
• Deep understanding of pricing models, margins, and revenue management in logistics.
• Driven to achieve measurable outcomes and meet sales goals.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment with evolving priorities.
• Proactive in managing workload and pursuing new opportunities.
• Able to handle rejection and maintain focus on long-term success.

IL Compensation Information: Base salary ($55,000+) + Commission structure.
