RICE Services Inc., (A 100% employee owned ESOP) is looking to hire an organized, professional Accounting Clerk to join our team.

Fulltime position, Monday through Friday

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Strong Excel skills
• Construction industry experience a plus

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer literate with proficiency with Microsoft Office and related spreadsheets and database software.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
• Comfortable, creating, editing, modifying documents using Microsoft Office products.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' work-related experience in accounting
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet imposed deadlines
• Must be able to live and model our core values: Respect, Integrity, Safety and Quality.
• Excellent worth ethic, good attendance and attention to detail
• Computer literate with proficiency with Microsoft Office and related spreadsheets and database software.
• Team Player and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Possess positive interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Interacts professionally and positively with vendors, customers, intercompany departments
• Assist day - to - day operations of accounting functions specifically in accounts receivable, collections and accounts payable.
