What you’ll do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and capable of handling a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks with a high level of professionalism.

Typical functions include:

  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate support for technical issues and equipment needs.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including mail and deliveries
  • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for the management team.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives such as office events/celebrations
  • Oversee document management tasks, including filing and retrieving records, creating and maintaining databases/spreadsheets and preparing and editing documents/reports/presentations.
  • Support management team with special projects as needed.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an administrative or executive support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Google suite (Gmail, docs, sheets)

Compensation:  

  • Pay - $30/hour
  • This is a part-time position with the potential to convert to a full-time permanent (W2) role based on performance, mutual interest, and company needs. Upon conversion to full-time, employees would receive a full compensation packet inclusive of base salary, end-of-year bonus eligibility, benefits, and would have the potential to earn equity in FedTech.

Location and Hours:

20 hours per week in a hybrid work arrangement (approximately 4 hours/day with 3 days in person at our headquarters in Arlington, VA and 2 days remote).
