Job Description

BWW Law Group, LLC, an "AV" rated real estate default law firm with offices located in Rockville, MD and Richmond, VA, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Billing Clerk to join our team. This position is full time (depending on location of applicant, position will be hybrid remote/remote). Attention to detail is a must to succeed as part of our team! Our Rockville office is Metro accessible (Red Line - White Flint Station) and both the Richmond and Rockville offices provide free employee parking.

Responsibilities:

• Generate daily invoices for work performed by business units in accordance with established Firm guidelines and client directives;
• Prepare / Process invoices to accurately bill clients within established deadlines;
• Review pending invoice production for accuracy and the availability of documentation required by the client for submission. Identify missing documentation and request from appropriate person or division;
• Submits invoices through appropriate client systems;
• Maintain case management system in a timely fashion;
• Adhere to strict timelines and invoicing requirements;
• Review and respond daily to client requests;
• Assist invoicing team and perform other AR/AP functions as needed;
• Research and request appropriate adjustments as needed;
• Performs additional duties as requested.

Qualifications :

• Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent computer and organizational skills, and must be able to multitask.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must, as well as the ability to meet deadlines;
• 1-3 years’ experience in billing or 1-3 years of foreclosure default processing experience preferred;
• Knowledge of CaseAware software or industry systems (i.e., LPS aka Black Knight, Invoice Management, Vendorscape, iCLEAR) is a plus;
• Must be able to work between the hours of 9am-6pm (this includes a 1-hour lunch) Monday-Friday;
• High School diploma. College degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business or relevant certifications preferred, but not required.
