Position Overview:

Onward Search is excited to collaborate with a school in Cook County, IL, to find a dedicated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, in-person role. This opportunity begins ASAP and will run through the remainder of the school year, with the potential for extension into the Extended School Year (ESY) and the 2025-2026 school year. year

Details You Should Know:

• Location: In-person only
• Schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours/week
• Caseload: Two schools (caseload fluctuates but is typically around 15 students)
• Grade Level: K-12

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Functional Behavior Analyses (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed for the schools.
• Provide consultation to classroom teams and educators to assist in the effective implementation of behavioral interventions.
• Monitor and track student progress on behavior goals and make adjustments as necessary.
• Provide support in analyzing behavioral data and identifying trends or patterns that require additional interventions or adjustments.
• Collaborate with school staff to create a positive learning environment through proactive behavioral strategies.
• Conduct regular follow-up assessments to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and provide additional support as needed.
• Offer guidance and recommendations for developing individualized behavior management strategies for students.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• Prefer experience working in a school environment
