Physician – Dermatologist – Cooperstown, NY

Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York, and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full or part time board-certified/board- eligible Dermatologist to join its busy practice. Visa Sponsorship Available.

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school- based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • 3 Dermatologists, which includes a Mohs surgeon and Teledermatologist, and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians
  • Medical Dermatology with additional opportunity for Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology as desired
  • 25-30 patients per day, 5 clinical days
  • Outpatient practice
  • No call
  • Virtual Scribe if desired
  • Full support staff
  • Office locations in Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, Delhi/Andes, Herkimer and Little Falls with the opportunity to select your primary location
  • Optional teaching opportunities with Columbia Medical Students and Bassett’s Internal Medicine and Surgical Residents
  • Salary Range: $450,000 - $525,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
  • Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
  • Competitive RVU incentive plan for additional earning potential with strong internal referral network.
  • Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000

Job Qualifications

  • MD, DO or MBBS
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • NYS Licensure
  • BLS Certification Required
  • DEA Required
