Position : On-Call or Part-Time Driver

Location : Varies based on delivery routes

Responsibilities :

• Pick up and deliver packages or materials to specified locations.
• Load and unload items at designated pickup and drop-off points.
• Use appropriate PPE, including a hard hat, safety boots, and a vest, when required by the delivery site.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning.
• Safeguard all materials during transport.
• Track and report mileage and deliveries accurately.
• Handle your own vehicle maintenance and upkeep as this role requires the use of your personal vehicle.

Requirements:

• A reliable personal vehicle ( Sprinter Van, Cargo Van Pick Up Truck) capable of handling delivery loads.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle for deliveries, accruing mileage.
• Ability to work on-call or part-time hours based on demand.
• Physical ability to load and unload materials. A helper with you is ok but not required
• Availability to adhere to safety protocols and use required PPE at some sites.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous delivery or logistics experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with using GPS and navigating efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working in varied environments and complying with site-specific safety requirements. Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
