- NCLB Compliance (Submit NCLB Compliance - one (1) of any of the three (3) ways listed:
1.) AA degree or higher
2.) Transcripts verifying 48 units or more
3.) Documentation of Para-Educator Certificate or passing grade on a state or local Para-Educator/Instructional Aide Assessment

NOTE to TCDE employees:
Employees that apply for a promotional opportunity will typically be placed on step one of the new higher classification. If step one is lower than their current salary, they will be placed at a step that provides for at least a 5% increase. If they have previous experience in a same higher classification they will be placed commensurate with that verified experience (lower classification experience does not apply to higher classifications).
