Knit-Rite has an immediate opening in Kansas City, KS for a General Production Worker III.
What You'll Get To Do Our General Production Worker III is a jack of all trades! General Production Worker's are able to move across the production floor doing various jobs throughout the production area. General Worker's do everything from inspection of products, fleecing socks, cutting socks, steaming socks, and measure products to check for any flaws during the production process.
We have a variety of customers and products! Every product will be different and requires different work instructions so attention to detail is important!
The Essentials This role is the essential in the creation of our products! Without our General Production Workers processing & inspecting our products, we would have no nothing to send to our customers. With the knowledge that is gained in this role, this leads to countless growth opportunities within the company like sewing and machine operating so the possibilities are endless!
While getting products together, our General Production Worker's will interact with other team members in production, including maintenance, sewing, and other General Worker's so the ideal candidate will need to be a team player!
With the variety of tasks that our General Production Worker's do, no two days will ever be the same! If you love problem solving and watching a product go from start to finish, this is the job for you!
What You'll Bring - High School or equivalent diploma
- 6 months - 1 Year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of computer, keyboard, and calculator
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours a day
