Schedule: 6:30/7 am- 2/2:30 pm with some flexibility. Will work weekends for an hour or two on Saturday or Sunday (rotation with facility team), on-call for emergencies (rare)
Pay Rate: $42.29/hr + overtime

We are seeking a dedicated HVAC employee for the first shift, who will undergo 1-2 years of training. Initially, the first 3-6 months will involve shadowing the current HVAC employee who is retiring, followed by transitioning to handle projects independently with supervision. The role involves overseeing daily operations, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, safety, and security systems. The candidate should collaborate well with team members, maintain a humble attitude, and work alongside colleagues at various career stages. They will operate in a climate-controlled building and occasionally handle tasks in the molding department. Key tasks include installing and repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, responding to emergencies, documenting work, and ensuring efficient facility operations. The facilities team consists of three people: a plumber, an electrician, and the candidate. The team will participate in weekly meetings with the manager to discuss ongoing projects and tasks, including the procurement of parts from nearby locations.
