In this role you will be focused on building their test equipment. You will Assemble, organize, and inspect test infrastructure mechanical subassemblies and integrated test systems. To be considered for this role you will have 1 to 3 years of mechanical assembly or maintenance experience. Mechanical Test Technician Job Duties

• Assemble, organize, and inspect test infrastructure mechanical subassemblies and integrated test systems
• Use and maintain mechanical tooling, including hand tools and machine shop equipment
• Commission and troubleshoot completed test infrastructure systems and confirm initial mechanical functionality, including validation using associated sensor readings, in collaboration with the commissioning and engineering teams
• Document findings and testing metrics for performance traceability
• Offer recommendations for keeping documentation up to date
• Cable harness assembly

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• 1 to 3 years of mechanical assembly or maintenance experience
• Familiarity with using machine shop equipment and power tools such as saws, mills, drills, laser cutter, 3D printer
• Ability to troubleshoot and triage mechanical issues and failures
• Familiarity with lean concepts to maintain inventory and organize workflows
• Written and oral communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization
• Work under the guidance of senior personnel on the team and demonstrate team first approach
