We are seeking a talented and experienced MRI-CT Manager to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate within a dynamic radiology department. With upcoming equipment upgrades and a new interventional CT suite, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of radiology services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MRI and CT teams across multiple locations

• Manage 4 MRI scanners and 3 CT scanners, with a new 256-slice CT scanner coming online soon

• Lead protocol improvement, development, and revision for CT and MRI

• Drive process improvements, policy revisions, and development

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and staff education

• Address employee concerns and provide coaching

• Ensure patient satisfaction and service recovery

• Support PACS and RIS systems

• Uphold radiation safety standards

• Conduct purchasing and vendor research

• Maintain quality assurance for MRI and CT imaging

• Handle MR and CT imaging, post-processing

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiography
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with advanced certification in CT or MRI
• Eligibility for New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist certification
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital radiology setting
• Experience with MR and CT equipment
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or related field
• Eligibility for New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist with injection certification
• Experience with Philips or GE MR and CT scanners
• Experience with Visage PACS, Epic EMR, and Workday HR software
• Leadership experience in a unionized setting
• Plattsburgh, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
