NetSuite Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support and user training to NetSuite users across Departments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather and document operational and functional requirements and translate requirements into operational solutions.
  • Support integrations between systems (Salesforce, Tipalti, AvidXchange, Snowflake)
  • Set up new users and maintain role-based access.
  • Develop, test, and deploy customizations, custom objects, and new functionality based on evolving business needs.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as data imports, updates, and backups.
  • Customize and configure NetSuite to meet business needs, including forms, fields, workflows, and roles.
  • Implement SuiteScripting for customizations and scripting requirements.
  • Manage SuiteBuilder tools for customization and enhancement of NetSuite functionalities.
  • Oversee integrations with third-party systems, ensuring smooth data flow between NetSuite and other applications.
  • Enhance existing functionality and improve processes within NetSuite.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and drive efficiency gains.
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business processes centered on the NetSuite platform.
  • , including NetSuite best practices.
  • Experience with Ship Central a plus.
  • Comprehend, articulate, and document customizations.
  • Raise tickets with NetSuite Support and/or with other support teams as needed.
  • Perform CSV imports and Mass Updates as required.
  • Support Production and one Sandbox Account.
  • Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
  • Communicate effectively to cross-functional personnel with varying degrees of technical proficiency.
  • Resolve user issues.
  • Monitor & administer account management, roles and access, profile creation, security administration, etc.
  • Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and change management protocols.
  • Stay updated on new NetSuite features and functionalities, assessing their potential impact on the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years overall IT experience with 3-5 years of experience working with NetSuite.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite in a manufacturing and distribution environment with at least 2 years NetSuite development experience.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite connectors.
  • Extensive experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
  • Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder for customization and development within NetSuite.
  • Wide-raging exposure across middleware tools, SuiteCommerce, RF-Smart, CRM, AR/AP, WMS, Demand Planning, Advance Financials, Post Go-Live Support, Process Automations, Reporting.
  • Highly efficient in Custom Records and Lists, Fields, Forms, Roles and Permissions, Page Layouts, Saved Searches and Reports, Workflows, and NetSuite data model.
  • Ability to script in Javascript.
  • NetSuite Certifications preferred (SuiteFoundation, Administrator)
  • Knowledge of Finance disciplines is a plus, as is SQL Server experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
