Center City District , located in Center City Philadelphia, is looking for outgoing, customer service and detail oriented individuals to join our Parks and Events Division as Part Time Park and Events Attendants, to be a part of the exciting outdoor environment Philadelphia Center City District has to offer.
Who We Are:
Center City District (CCD) is a business improvement district dedicated to keeping the downtown Philadelphia Center City Area, clean, safe and attractive. The CCD works with other organizations to make the area an attractive place to live, work and visit.
What You Will Do:
As the Park Attendant, you will oversee activities at our Parks and ensure the park rules and regulations are followed in play and surrounding areas within the park. The Parks and Events Attendant oversees play at the pond, garden and fountains, and request adherence to those rules and performs light maintenance of play areas. The Park Attendants goal is to create a safe environment in our Parks.
Due to COVID requirements, the Parks and Events Attendant is required to wear a mask at all times during their shifts.
Requirements:
* High School graduate or equivalent;
* College experience in a related field such as Childhood Education preferred;
* Able to work nights, weekends and holidays;
* COVID-19 vaccine required, Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
* Outstanding customer service and excellent interpersonal skills
* Able to work outdoors for extended period of time in all types of weather
* Able to pass post offer physical, drug test, reference, criminal and child abuse check
