Office of Employee & Business Services

The Office of Employee and Business Services (OEBS) manages the agency’s administrative services, including human resources, facility operations and organizational development. OEBS and its component bureaus support the primary goal of the ODJFS by providing continuous, accurate and timely administrative services to the program areas within the department. What You’ll Do

Mail Services at Integrity Drive is responsible for picking up, sorting and delivering of all mail for the entire agency. In, this role you will be working with a team of 3-4 employees who will be driving to 2-3 locations daily to pick-up and bring it back to Integrity Drive for processing.

  • Picks up and deliveries agency mail from multiple locations daily; safely operates motor vehicles
  • Performs varied and specialized clerical tasks in support of Mail Services/Digital Mail/Records Management
  • Prepares hard copy mail/records for scanning by removing paper clips, staples and repairing torn edges
  • Performs mail rooms duties and other duties assigned to them by management (attend trainings, meetings, operates personal computer to produce reports and documents, maintains vehicle logs, records and files)

  • Ability to learn and operate different types of digital imaging equipment, printers, scanners
  • Must be able to drive a commercial mail van and have a valid Ohio driver license

  • This shift requires early morning start time

Schedule: Work hours are 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Travel: Travel required daily to pick up and delivery agency mail/other work related materials. Work vehicles are provided.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate, at minimum, must have the following:

  • OPTION 1 :

    • (6) months training OR (6) months experience in using personal computer & related business office software AND (6) months training OR (6) months experience in office practices & procedures.

    Option 2 :

    • (6) months experience as an Office Professional 1, Class - 12141.

    Or

    • Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Pay Information

This position is in the State of Ohio’s OCSEA Pay Schedule, Pay Range 26. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $20.28 per hour. These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
