JOB DESCRIPTION: The Account Manager is responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities for tours and events. You will be responsible for sales, negotiating contracts, and supporting project execution to achieve the client’s vision. Maintaining profitability and maximizing utilization in coordination with project managers, engineers, and inventory control will be a key objective. The ideal candidate has a background in sales and/or event management with an emphasis on excellent customer service, profitability, and a solution driven mindset.

JOB DUTIES:
· Develop and retain a portfolio of live event clients.
· Foster client relationships across the entertainment industry.
· Identify and develop sales opportunities to create new and repeat business.
· Achieve sales/revenue goals as it relates to this position.
· Provide excellent customer support throughout sales process.
· Collaborate with Project Managers and System Engineers to create pricing estimates in alignment with project scope, schedule and resources, ensuring programs are properly budgeted, estimated, and scheduled within clients’ communicated parameters.
· Negotiate favorable contract terms, pricing and margin with clients.
· Demonstrate creative solutions to achieve client’s vision.
· Direct communication with the Director of Sales/Executive Director to ensure company growth.
· Gather client information and develop the event execution plan.
· Manage the event rental and oversight of project plans.
· Provide post-event support following up on quoted projects and retaining client relationships.
· Exceed expectations by impressing clients by creating strategic partnerships not transactions.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
· Utilize a CRM to keep up to date records of sales and business development.
· Participate in collection efforts for unpaid invoices.
· Be a leader and representative of the company's culture, mission, vision and core-values.
TRAVEL:
· Travel to customer sites, venues, job locations, and industry events per Director of Sales.
· Must be available for up to 40 percent travel and work flexible hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 3yrs industry or sales experience.
· Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
· Experience using rental and event management software or possess the enthusiasm and ability to learn.
· Must have experience and understanding of AVL equipment used in live event productions.
· Possess the highest level of communication skills, organization skills and ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects, and a high degree of adaptability to a continually changing environment.
· Exceptional customer service skills with ability to impress clients.
· Thrives in event and office settings - must be available for up to 25 percent travel and work flexible hours.
· Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, good judgment, teamwork, and commitment to company mission.
· Teamwork minded, and Passion for the job.
· Proficient in Internet software; Email; PC and Apple Operating Systems; Rentalworks, Vector Works, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
