Description BigIron is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Regional Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal to our success, as it involves developing a passionate, dependable, and driven team capable of delivering consistent and outstanding results. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving consignment sales growth and expanding our customer base within your assigned sales district, ensuring that BigIron continues to thrive and lead in the industry.
Essential Functions: - Supports District Managers efforts to train and coach Territory Managers and Independent Sales Representatives in their respective areas.
- Ensures timely reporting of all expenses and financial data as specified by the Company's policies.
- Manage P&L for your region.
- Create and develop a plan to achieve the regional sales budget numbers, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
- Personal commitment to ensure corporate goals are met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Ensures quality and timely listings by District Managers and their Independent Sales Representatives and Territory Managers throughout every district within the region.
- Ensures appropriate districts are filled by qualified District Sales Managers who will achieve revenue and sales goals.
- Establishes and evaluates personal sales goals to ensure continued successful development within the Regional Sales force with proper utilization of human resources, materials, and time.
- Develops, recommends, plans, and implements systems, procedures, and practices; successfully influences each sales transaction to maximize profitability.
- Develops and conducts Economy of Management practices and internal control procedures to ensure he/she operates in the most cost-effective manner while providing accurate, documented, and timely sales services.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree preferred, or (5) plus years of related sales experience and/or training.
- Experience in equipment sales in agriculture, construction, or transportation, and ability to generate revenue.
- Knowledge of focus market participants (individuals, farms/ranches, dealers, lenders, contractors, and agri-businesses) within assigned region boundaries and customs and trends within assigned region.
- Experience in management and leading outside sales forces; ability to coach, lead, manage, instruct/train.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of P&L management.
- Experience supporting work within multi-regional or global company offering best in class or market-leading product or service business.
- Strong interviewing and hiring skills (must be able to hire the right DMs to drive sales and the BigIron culture within the region).
- Experience in customer service (internally and externally) and community engagement.
- Must maintain a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
- Travel is required, with overnight stays.
