Essential Duties and Responsibilities Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order process issues Communicate and collect accounts receivable when necessary Develop new business and identify prospective customers Keep updated on market conditions and competitors' products Drive to customers and prospects for product delivery Supervision No direct reports Relationships Internal: District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Dept., Merchandising & Marketing, Operations, Customer Contact External: Customers, vendors, prospective customers Work Environment Frequently outside the office, working in the field visiting customers in variable weather conditions Minimum Qualifications 1+ year of sales experience preferred Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality Proficient computer skills; experience using Customer Relationship Management tools preferred Education High school diploma or equivalent Certifications/Training N/A Licenses Valid driver's license required & motor vehicle record must be in good standing Physical Qualifications Must be able to perform various physical activities
