Job Description
This is a 12 month CTH role with Chemical Abstract Services (CAS). Candidates must be willing to be onsite Tues, Wed and Fri in Columbus OHno exceptions. Visa - USC/GC/EAD-GC only. Need to have salary range as well.
Job Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of comprehensive Salesforce solution design/development/support experience, along with integrated application implementation and support exposure, encompassing:
- Jira-based intake support, including sizing/scoping for requested initiatives
- broad experience with Salesforce Classic and some experience with Salesforce Lightning components
- development experience utilizing Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Flows, Process Builder, Lightning App Builder, Web Services, REST, SOAP, Migration Tools, and Data Integration Tools (e.g., Dell Boomi)
- contributions to and consistent use of best practices for development and deployment efforts
- experience with supporting integrated applications and associated data architecture
- contributions to comprehensive Salesforce ecosystem documentation
- incident investigation/resolution across the Salesforce ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to work with business analysts and software developers to analyze, automate, and support complex end-to-end business practices that span integrated business applications and data domains
- Experience with translating future-state business requirements and use case scenarios into technical solution design options with coordinated data integrations, then facilitating reviews with key stakeholders
- Practical experience with Agility practices and ongoing improvements to Jira Kanban-based delivery practices
- Strong conceptual/analytical capabilities and communication skills, enhanced by problem solving, attention to detail, and applicable Salesforce coursework/certifications
Job Duties (leveraging the Qualifications above) :
- Partner with business and technical colleagues, providing:
- solution design, implementation, and support for Salesforce Classic and various integrated applications
- support for blueprinting and eventual green-field implementation of Salesforce Lightning and CPQ
- Contribute to team efforts across a range of business priorities, including daily production support and maintenance, routine enhancements, solution investigations, and project-level initiatives on the Salesforce platform and across integrated applications
- Support and help to ensure Salesforce ecosystem alignment with Business Technology application and data architecture (encompassing multiple applications, including Outreach, SAP ECC, Oracle Eloqua, etc.)
- Collaborate with technical team and business colleagues to design and develop robust technical solutions that deliver value-add business capabilities and solve complex business problems, per evolving business strategies
- Design, build, and support integrations across application platforms, including various Salesforce in/outbound data flows; collaborate with interfacing systems teams regarding shared data entities, and support related data governance and data modeling efforts for business data domains
- Consistently utilize Salesforce practices/procedures and tools/templates for 1) Kanban-based service delivery, 2) software assessment/implementation for integrated applications, 3) technical solution design and cross-application data integration design, 4) software development/configuration, code reviews, and integration testing, 5) change management and production deployment, 6) production support and incident management, 7) Salesforce release planning/testing, and 8)
- Salesforce backup/recovery and sandbox seeding, in an effort to ensure system integrity/stability
- Contribute to comprehensive Salesforce ecosystem documentation, including system/data architecture and technical design for core components
- Monitor and share knowledge of Salesforce and other technology industry trends and announcements with business and technical colleagues
