Based out of our Macon, GA facility and reporting to the VP of Construction,Hamlin Air Conditioning is currently hiring a Sheet Metal Foreman familiar with all aspects of Commercial HVAC Sheetmetal installation and associated materials according to specifications and codes.

Duties & Responsibilities: - Determine sequence of installations by reading plans and working drawings. Perform field take offs and jobsite material inventories.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the assembly and installation of sheet metal ductwork for air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units used in schools, commercial and industrial buildings.
- Complete and maintain work site paperwork to include, but not limited to, accident reports, material requisitions, RFI's, T&M tickets, daily logs, SDS sheets, logbooks, daily timecard verification, weekly jobsite inspection forms.
- Accountability for man hours and material costs.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to work on elevated ground and maintain balance when standing on restricted levels such beams and ladders.
- Ability to effectively follow all safety procedures and contribute to a solid safety culture.
Additional Requirements: - Minimum 5+ years of experience supervising commercial sheet metal crews.
- Knowledge of SMACNA requirements and local and state codes.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar.
- Possess Good verbal communication skills.
- Basic competence in sheet metal mathematics.
- Team oriented with the ability to work well and communicate with others.
- Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record and clean criminal background. Also, must clear gov't background check for base access.
- Must be able to handle demands of the job including standing, walking, keeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting at least 50 lbs., repetitively.
- Must be able to physically perform frequent ladder work.
- Must adhere to all OSHA and Hamlin Air Conditioning and Sheetmetal's safety policies and procedure.
