To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

• Work with cross-functional teams of customers, suppliers, program managers, and Plant operations to ensure the effectiveness of the AUTOKINITON supply chain.
• Conduct Quality audits with suppliers for capabilities and assessment.
• Review, analyze, and approve supplier PPAP submissions in coordination with AUTOKINITON’s receiving Plant Quality Team.
• Provide guidance for supplier-based issues (approves rework and 3rd party requirements).
• Assist Suppliers in establishing product Quality standards. Determine product/material acceptability and best practices for boundary samples.
• Suggest and review alternative solutions for product or material issues.
• This salaried role is a part of our Quality Team and reports to the Quality Manager.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent industrial Quality experience.
• Minimum three (3) years in Supplier Quality Engineering; automotive strongly preferred.
• Experience working with OEM customers strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of standard Quality practices, ex. FMEA’s, SPC, DOE, etc.
• Large and medium metal stamping and assembly welding in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience with PPAP documentation.
• Ability to work in a face-pace manufacturing environment.
• Advance proficiency with MSOffice and other software system from suppliers and OEMs.
