Schedule: Full Time What You'll Do The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the recruitment process to include but not limited to posting open positions online, application review, prescreening applicants, scheduling interviews, and extending offers. They will work closely with the system, hiring managers to deliver the best qualified candidates. This position ensures compliance with all federal and state guidelines while also delivering the best candidate experience.
Responsibilities: - Conduct intake meetings with leaders to agree on qualification criteria for candidates
- Manage the full recruiting life cycle process utilizing Workday for applicant tracking system
- Publish job requisitions on Workday, careers pages, job boards and social media
- Source and contact passive candidates online (e.g., via LinkedIn, social media, and other tools)
- Network with candidates during events, job fairs and community events
- Screen resumes and job applications
- Interview candidates and provide shortlists of qualified potential hires
- Update hiring manager on requisition and candidate status (e.g., number of screened candidates)
- Prepare candidates before interviews with hiring managers
- Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities
- Keep detailed records of past applicants' information, including resumes, assignments, and interview evaluations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to manage the first hiring stages (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing)
- Knowledge of resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities
Preferred Qualifications - Workday Experience
- Knowledge of recruitment, retention, and equal employment opportunity practices and theories.
- Customer service experience
- Proven work experience as a Staffing Agency Recruiter, Recruiter or similar role
- Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening calls, in-person interviews and group interviews
- Experience evaluating candidates for various roles and seniority levels
Education - GED or High School Diploma required.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field
License/Certifications - Valid driver's license
