Overview

What We're Looking For

CyberPoint is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring responsible AI tools and methodologies are effectively documented to meet the needs of users and stakeholders. You will craft clear, concise and engaging documentation that communicates complex concepts to a diverse audience while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand responsible AI technologies and methods and distill critical information into clear and accessible documentation.
  • Create and maintain a range of technical documents including user guides, API documentation, release notes and knowledge base articles.
  • Develops tutorials, whitepapers and case studies to educate users on best practices for implementing responsible AI solutions.
  • Review technical documentation produced by contracted vendors for consistency, accuracy and harmony with products.
  • Gather feedback from users and internal stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and AI technology, as well as DoD, US Government and international policies as necessary.
  • Scrupulously follows security, classification and public release policies and procedures to ensure documents are properly marked and handled.

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the AI, Machine Learning or Software Development domain.
  • Proficiency in documenting complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate technical jargon into clear and concise documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
