Technical Writer (W2-Contract)

Role Overview:
Support the Server Admin & Sustainment team by creating and managing IT process documentation. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility through ServiceNow.

Responsibilities:
✅ Documentation (70%) – Develop & update IT process docs, SOPs, playbooks, and workflows. Maintain revision control and consolidate knowledge in ServiceNow.
✅ Ticket Management (25%) – Track RFC changes, manage asset documentation, assign tickets, and monitor SLA compliance.
✅ Project Engagement (5%) – Attend IT meetings, complete internal training, and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
✔ 3+ years as a Technical Writer in IT
✔ Experience with CMS, IT security standards, and large enterprise environments
✔ Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL, and process documentation
Preferred:
✨ Training or instructional design experience
✨ Systems Administration background
📌 Must pass Department of Revenue Security Clearance.
