The role requires leveraging industry and business knowledge to create demand and persuade through the development/ presentation of compelling purchasing rationales in a highly competitive environment. The Territory Sales Account Manager is executing the strategic objectives and winning strategy for pursuits working in conjunction with the US Land Territory Sales Team.
The Territory Sales Account Manager's Role and Responsibilities are listed and should not be limited to these activities to be successful and drive sales to achieve Annual Operating Plan goals and targets for Sensia.
Job Description - Drive direct sales and with others to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals and targets for Sensia.
- Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding quota by actively negotiating and bringing opportunities to closure while working with the broader matrixed Sensia sales teams.
- Deliver bookings growth for high-value flow measurement products and systems, process automation, digital and Lift Control Systems solutions and services on major infrastructure projects within the assigned territory in the USA. A Key Measure will be bookings growth.
- Identify major project opportunities within the assigned region where there are opportunities for Sensia high-value products, solutions and services,
- Collaborate with Sensia Sales Management and extended teams to grow business and market position.
- Qualify those projects with potential opportunities at an early enough stage (typically FEED or earlier) to ensure engagement at an early enough time to be specified.
- Help develop and drive the North America sales strategy through market quantification and development of business plans.
- Lead the engagement process for the project by building relationships with key influencers in the region for these projects.
- Build relationships directly with clients to ensure Sensia equipment is preferred for projects of interest.
- Undertake technical presentations of the product line to various levels in the client's organization.
- Manage the liaison with other Regional Sales Managers to ensure a cohesive strategy.
- Maintain project and opportunity tracking for the region (Microsoft Dynamics CRM).
- Network with the Sensia staff in other divisions/groups to ensure the above is carried out effectively to maximize the opportunity.
The Sensia Territory Sales Account Manager is an Individual contributor role which relies on teaming, collaboration, and direct / indirect influencing to accomplish AOP objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Petroleum Engineering.
- Be a Team Member, Collaborator, and able to lead Teams from an indirect influencing role.
- General Oil and Gas Industry experience in Production and Operations work processes.
- General pre-sales, direct sales or consulting experience with Digital Focus, Production, Operations, or interaction with IT /OT.
- 10+ Years Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Desired Qualifications:
- Oil and Gas Industry experience in Production and Operations work processes. Knowledge of current Digital Technologies relative to Oil and Gas. Ability to conduct Business Assessments and identify key issues and then provide Solutions to address issues.
- Understand the impacts and technologies associated with Flow Assurance, Mechanical Integrity, and Production Optimization in the Exploration and Production Segment.
